I am a Ph.D. student in the Committee on Evolutionary Biology at the University of Chicago. I am advised by Dr. Corrie Moreau, a curator at the Field Museum of Natural History. Prior to graduate school, I graduated from Yale University in 2014 with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
I am interested in adaptation and diversification in ant species. I am studying ant trait evolution and species diversity using various phylogenetic and comparative techniques. I investigate the role of biogeography, disease dynamics, and symbiosis on ant diversification using a combination of ecological field experiments with genomic and evolutionary analyses.
